Tawil (تأويل) is a platform for Islamic dream interpretation — tafsir al-ahlam — grounded in the classical scholarship of Imam Ibn Sirin, Imam Al-Nabulsi, and Ibn Shahin. We pair a free, AI-assisted interpretation tool with a growing library of dream-symbol guides in both Arabic and English.

Who writes our content

Every guide is curated and reviewed by the Tawil Editorial Team for alignment with classical Islamic dream-interpretation sources. We aim to present the established scholarly positions faithfully, while making them clear and accessible to a modern reader.

What we believe interpretation is — and isn't

Dream interpretation in Islam is guidance, not certainty. Our content and tool do not issue religious rulings (fatwa) and are not a substitute for a knowledgeable scholar. The meaning of a dream depends on its context, the dreamer's state, and details that only the dreamer knows.

ما هو التفسير — وما ليس كذلك

تفسير الأحلام في الإسلام استئناس وتوجيه، لا قطع ولا يقين. محتوانا وأداتنا لا يصدران فتوى، ولا يغنيان عن أهل العلم. ويعتمد معنى الرؤيا على سياقها وحال صاحبها وتفاصيل لا يعلمها إلا الرائي.
